Ion Fans
The primary function of an ion fan is static elimination. It delivers outstanding static neutralization performance to prevent contamination and damage caused by static electricity. It serves as ideal equipment for localized static protection areas such as electronic production lines and maintenance workstations. Developed specifically for regional operation, ion fans feature compact size, light weight and easy installation. Modular assembly is supported for deployment in diverse working environments.
Common classifications of ion fans include bench-top ion fans, horizontal ion fans, overhead suspended ion fans and miniature ion fans.
Ion fans generate high-volume airflow carrying positive and negative charges to neutralize static charges on object surfaces. If an object carries negative static charges, it attracts positive ions from the airflow; if the object carries positive static charges, it absorbs negative ions. This process neutralizes static electricity on the surface and achieves static elimination.
Centrifugal Fans
Taking a split air conditioning unit as an example, the indoor unit mainly consists of a heat exchanger and a fan. The fan accelerates heat exchange: air is drawn in from the side and discharged downwards. Heat is removed from incoming air as it passes through the heat exchanger, producing cooled supply air. Heat captured by the heat exchanger is transferred to the outdoor unit via refrigerant. The outdoor unit compresses the refrigerant to release heat, which is expelled into the ambient atmosphere by an exhaust fan. The system operates based on the thermodynamic principle that heat is released during gas compression and absorbed during pressure reduction. The refrigerant circulates through compression and decompression cycles to transfer indoor heat outdoors.
A centrifugal fan is a fluid-driven machine that increases gas pressure and conveys gas using input mechanical energy. Centrifugal fans are widely applied for ventilation, dust exhaust and cooling in factories, mines, tunnels, cooling towers, vehicles, vessels and buildings; ventilation and induced draft for boilers and industrial furnaces; cooling and air circulation in air conditioning systems and household appliances; grain drying and conveyance; wind supply for wind tunnels, as well as air charging and propulsion for hovercraft.
