Water source safety, micro-pollution control and drinking water security have increasingly become routine and critical tasks in China's water quality monitoring and testing. Water quality testing is a national and regional water safety initiative that carries important social responsibilities and practical mandates.
The functions of a water quality testing laboratory are determined by the inherent properties of testing items as well as the requirements for water sample collection and preservation. On-site measurement is conducted for parameters including colority, turbidity, water temperature, pH value, electrical conductivity and dissolved oxygen during water sample collection.

Since water quality testing laboratories are primarily engaged in water sample analysis, the indoor environment tends to be humid. A large quantity of laboratory glassware needs to be cleaned after testing procedures. Therefore, laboratory benches in the washing area shall be made of thermosetting resin material with excellent moisture resistance. This material delivers superior moisture-proof and antibacterial performance, allows easy cleaning and ensures higher operational safety.
In addition, to create an optimal experimental environment, laboratory benches shall be equipped with dry-wet separation modules to achieve moisture and corrosion resistance, and to prevent cross-interference between the washing area and experimental operation area. To meet the laboratory's water, electricity and gas supply demands for testing activities, partitioned central laboratory benches with integrated full-station water, electricity and gas supply modules are recommended for deployment.
